Introduction:Residents Welfare Associations of Sec-7, Sec-8 and Sec-9 formed a federation in the year 1996 to highlight the civic grievances of residents before the district administration. Late shri K.P.Malik resident of Sec-7E and a well-known social activist of Faridabad headed the federation. Later on more and more Residents Welfare Associations became members of the federation and in the year 2006, its name was changed to “Confederation of Residents Welfare Associations”. Gradually and gradually it gained much prominence and has a city-wide presence. As on date, it has about 70 RWAs as its members comprise from Sec-37 to Sec-4R on the eastern side and Sec-46 to Sec-55 including NIT on the western side of Mathura Road. Vision:Vision of the Confederation is to integrate, strengthen and bring all Residents Welfare Associations of the city together for collective affirmation. It also aims to bring closer the citizen groups and district administration on a common platform for speedy redressal of civic grievances of residents. Mission:
